A Beginner’s Guide to Hero Hunters

A Beginner’s Guide to Hero Hunters

It’s not very often that a game gets a 5/5 rating from us, but Hero Hunters easily did. However, as you need some sort of skills in order to play, we thought it would be a good idea to make a beginner’s guide for it. Collect exclusive heroes, each with their own legendary weapons and special abilities. Assemble the right team to take on the enemy.

Hero Types

Heroes have certain roles they fall into and there are three different types at the time of writing this:

  • Front Line – Heroes will spawn closest to the enemy
  • Mid-Line – Heroes will spawn toward the middle of the battlefield and should be high DPS
  • Support – Heroes spawn near the rear and usually are long-range fighters or healers

Heroes all have their own special abilities, which can be upgraded over time. Spend your in-game money to upgrade the abilities, apply XP, and get items that’ll help promote your hero.

Getting Gold is Important

Gold is the main currency in Hero Hunters, and it’s one of the best. You can use it to buy new hero creates (that contain heroes). You can also use gold to buy items in the Black Market.

Earn gold by leveling up after missions, and completing achievements and Daily Quests.

  • 1,000 gold (100 instantly, and then 30 every day for 30 days) for £4.99
  • 200 gold for £4.99
  • 450 gold for £9.99
  • 1,000 gold for £19.99
  • 2,600 gold for £48.99
  • 5,600 gold for £99.99
  • 6000 gold (3200 instantly and 400 every day for 7 days) for £99.99

Stamina

Stamina is your energy in the game, and the more you play, the more it runs out. You can buy stamina points with your gold but there isn’t much point in doing so as it’s more fun to gradually go through the game.

Don’t Forget Your Free Crates

If you’re someone who doesn’t like to spend their real money on app games, make sure you collect your free crates by tapping the glowing yellow buttons that pop up. It obviously won’t be anything rare, but it’ll definitely give you an incentive to want to keep playing.

Try Out All Game Modes

Once you start to get the hang of Hero Hunters, it can be tempting to stick to the same game mode but make sure you change it up a bit.

Don’t Stop Moving

One thing to absolutely remember is to never stop moving in Hero Hunters. It can be tempting to stay still at first, especially when you’re trying to put together some kind of strategy so you can aim properly. Understandable, but this can leave you vulnerable to enemy attacks. It’s easier to dodge attacks than stand still figuring out how to shoot properly. Also, note to look out for the red circle that appears either when you’re standing or behind cover and swipe to the side immediately as this means a grenade is about to explode.
