Our Games of April

Our Games of April

Through April we’ve reviewed some amazing games, but also some questionable ones. Today we’re going to take you through our favorites of April in no particular order and why we love them so much!

The best adorable cat game! Look after your cute kitties, help your customers match with their favorite cat, and customize your cafe to bring the ultimate joy! Furistas Cat Cafe captures the personalities of real-life cats and will melt your heart.” – Runaway

Starting off with Furistas Cat Cafe, we found this game to be wonderfully calming through the stressful time we’re currently going through. To be completely honest with you, we would go as far as to say this game should be renamed Serotonin Cat Cafe. The visuals are brilliant along with the gameplay that’s so relaxing. This isn’t one for the fast-paced competitive gamer, however, perfect to wind down with.

Save the Girl

“Oh no a shark, what will you do? Pitch a tent or fire the missiles?!!! Choose your fate but be careful one wrong answer, and you are shark bait! But no fear, you can always try again in this relaxing story puzzler.” – Lion Studios

We’re sure you can agree with us when we say those game ads we see that are nothing like the actual gameplay are so frustrating! However, Lion Studios decided to create a game exactly like those rescuing games. Save the Girl fulfilled our dream of being able to pick between items to be able to save the girl. Although there were a lot of ads, there’s an option to remove them so it’s less crowded.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

“Tents, hammocks, fireplaces, a stuffed-animal sofa…mix and match to your heart’s content! Make a trendy open-air café, or line up some microphones and guitars to create an outdoor music festival! In the mood for a little extra fun? Set up a merry-go-round and open a theme park. You can even make a pool, or fill the sky with fireworks!” – Nintendo

With the buzz around Animal Crossing: New Horizons, we thought it would be a good idea to review Pocket Camp for those who don’t have a switch. It’s a great alternative, although it’s not exactly the same as console Animal Crossing games. The graphics are spot on though! We found it super addicting and can’t stop playing it alongside New Horizons.

Tap Music 3D

“Enjoy the music, tap the balls and sliders when they reach scoring areas.” – Eyugame Network Technology”

For the majority of the month of April, we couldn’t get enough of Tap Music 3D. Not only is it addicting but it’s constantly updated with new songs. With the coins you collect through playing the game, you can unlock special songs. It’s definitely perfect for a rainy day and actually reminded us a lot of Beat Saber.

Cyber Drive

Company: Popa Radu

“You’re a driver in the city of the future. Your destination is far away and you’re running late. But you and your flying car are masters of the air, so you decide to take a dive through the busy traffic of the city.” – Popa Radu

This is definitely one for the competitive gamer! If you like games that are going to challenge you – then this is it. We found ourselves getting so frustrated with how hard the game is, however, we couldn’t stop playing. It was a weird one! We love any game that has retro graphics so this was a win-win for us.

Wobble Man

Android Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cacacat.wobble.man.upstairs&hl=en_GB

Company: Ohayoo

Hello agent Wobble Man, there is a new assignment for you: Go ahead! Find something in the unlimited floor building!” – Ohayoo

We really didn’t expect to love Wobble Man as much as we did, especially as the graphics didn’t look the most impressive. However, the excitement of escaping the cops was such fun and because the levels were so fast, we found ourselves playing for longer than we can admit!

So that’s our roundup for April. Please do let us know if you like these types of posts and we’ll do more…

Happy gaming, stay safe, and stay casual!
