Gameplay
If you grew up as a kid in Britain, you will know that Mr. Bean is well-loved nationwide. And now he’s on your phone.
The aim of the game is to deliver parcels as quickly as possible to your friends and neighbor. But no, it isn’t as simple as that. The road is bumpy and there are obstacles all over the place and it’s very easy to drop the parcels that are balancing on top of Mr. Bean’s famous green Mini Cooper.
Graphics
I love the graphics. They look exactly like what they do on the cartoon series, which is what Mr. Bean – Special Delivery is based on. The game runs smoothly, doesn’t lag and it also doesn’t crash. Perfect. But then again, it isn’t exactly Shadowgun Legends. It doesn’t take up much space on your phone.
Music
If you have ever watched the Mr. Bean episodes, you will know that the music fits in perfectly with the theme. The actual theme music from the show is played at the beginning as well. Lots of nostalgia – love it.
The sounds are also pretty standard for a driving game, however, Mr. Bean does come out with phrases like “Coming through, coming through” or “phew, I made it” to name a few. I thought this was weird as Mr. Bean is known for not saying much. But I’ll let it go because it sounds like him. I’d love to know if Rowan Atkinson actually voiced Mr. Bean in this game. Controls
I had absolutely no idea how to use the controls at first. Well, I got the idea of it of course but I didn’t know exactly what they were for. So the pedal on the right is to move and the pedal on the left is to reverse. I was wondering what the point was in having a reverse but I realized that sometimes it’s hard to build up speed so reversing helps if you can’t get over a hill.

There is A LOT that you can purchase in the store that its kind of overwhelming. But there are packs that break it down a bit.
- Starter Pack – 10 gems, 1,500 coins, and 17 powerups for £1.99
- 1st Class Pack – 75 gems, 10,000 coins, and 50 powerups for £9.99
- Special Delivery Pack – 100 gems, 25,000 coins, and 75 powerups for £19.99
There is also a chance to follow the VIP Route rather than the Free Route for £4.99. The VIP Route has a lot more prizes to be won.
On top of that, there is an option to remove all ads between games for £0.99. This is definitely worth it because there are a lot of ads in this game. It’s stupid. 99p isn’t bad at all.
The Verdict
The verdict is that this is a great game for a bit of early noughties nostalgia! Mr. Bean – Special Delivery is addicting, fun, and most of all, good quality.
I didn’t even know this game existed so when I found out, I was so excited! My expectations were exceeded and I definitely recommend you play this!
