First up on Casual Gaming News this week:
Xbox Games Pass Coming to Mobile Devices on September 15
Earlier in 2020, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer announced that Xbox Games Pass is coming to your mobile. You’ll be able to play Xbox One-quality games on your Android or iOS device as long as you’ve got a good phone or data connection. Xbox has announced that you’ll be able to start streaming Xbox Games Pass titles to your mobile device from September 15.
This is really exciting news, especially for those who are always on the go and maybe don’t get to play on their Xbox as much as they’d like! Mobile gaming has been spoken about as the future of gaming by the industry. It’s no surprise that Xbox would go in this direction. We fully support this and look forward to it!

New Football Manager Games are Coming but They’ll be “a Little Later Than Originally Planned”
Football Manager developer Sports Interactive has confirmed that Football Manager 2021 will release later this year. “It has taken a monumental effort to make this possible. The flexibility the team has shown through this period (COVID-19) has been incredible; we’ve been changing scope, both upwards and downwards, on an almost weekly basis (and often as a result of changes in people’s personal circumstances). I firmly believe you’ll all appreciate the improvements and new features this year – and for us to have created the games that we’re going to deliver later this year during a global pandemic is something else I’m very proud of.”
If you’re a big fan of the Football Manager series, you’ll probably be pleased to know that everyone has been working really hard in order to release it! Although a little later than planned, it’s a surprise that it hasn’t been pushed back further due to COVID-19. This is great news for all football gamers out there!
