Gameplay
To be quite honest, I’ve never seen a game like this before on the app store. Of course, I’ve seen a match-3 game and an action game, but I’ve never seen the two merged together and it’s safe to say I enjoyed the experience.
Puzzle Heist gets you battling with enemies either in cars or in-person through match-3 gameplay. The match-3 part of the game is fairly easy as long as you match the colors with the color of the car to get the maximum damage.
Graphics
The graphics instantly reminded me of a game we reviewed years ago: Fastlane: Road to Revenge. I like games that show characters with personality and it’s quite clear that the developers thought hard about how they look.
Music & Sounds
The audio for Puzzle Heist is very fast-paced to keep you in the mood of feeling like you’re in an actual heist. I actually really enjoyed the music that came with the game and feel like it added a lot to the gameplay.
Controls
If you hadn’t guessed already, the controls consist of having to drag your finger to match 3 blocks together. If you want to aim for a certain car or person, tap them first and then make your move.

The Verdict
I’ve played Puzzle Heist so much in the past 24 hours I can’t get enough of it so, yes I will be keeping this on my phone for the foreseeable future. Not only is it unique from other games I’ve played on the app store but it’s genuinely entertaining.
