Gameplay
If you’ve ever come across the YouTuber Morgz, you might be aware of the fact he has a new mobile game out and we’re here to review it! After seeing it advertised to me countless times, I had to give it a go – and boy was I underwhelmed.
The idea of the gameplay is nice, there’s different mini-games available so you’re technically not playing the same game continuously. However, at the moment there are only two mini-games available and two others that say coming soon. This is disappointing because the gameplay gets boring really quickly. It doesn’t make sense as to why the developers wouldn’t just release the game, however, here we are. I’m disappointed and only managed a solid 5 minutes before I didn’t want to play anymore.
Graphics
The graphics are standard at best and don’t seem to be well thought out at all. Morgz is in it, but the way he’s been designed, you can’t even tell. It looks nothing like him – it could be a standard brunette boy for all we know. I think a lot more thought and love could’ve got into the visuals for Morgz Ultimate Challenge to make it more appealing to a wider audience, rather than just children.
Music & Sounds
Where I think the music is annoying, the sounds impressed me as you can actually hear Morgz cheering you on in the background. Having his voice in the game adds a nice touch compared to reading a script that I’m not a fan of in games and I find it lazy.
Controls
The first game, where you’re shoving food into your mouth, requires swiping. However, the second game, where you’re playing the floor is lava, requires you to tap. Hopefully the two “coming soon” games will have a more interesting control system but I won’t hold my breath.

The Verdict
If I’m going to be completely honest, Morgz Ultimate Challenge seems like it was made for some quick money, not to entertain. There was so much hype around it, but I’m disappointed with the gameplay and the graphics. I can see why it’s popular amongst children as they just want to support their favorite YouTuber – but it’s not for me at all.
