Gameplay

Merge items to make bigger items and beat the witches’ curse. This is a fun and very casual game to play when you’re not quite sure what to play. This isn’t something you’d get addicted to, but it definitely has gameplay that’s good enough to keep you coming back.

Graphics

The visuals are similar to other merging games I’ve seen on the app store with it’s colorful aesthetic, cute animals, and interesting looking flowers. It has a general cute vibe about it but there’s definitely nothing that wowed me about the graphics for Merge Magic.

Music & Sounds

The music is very generic as you might’ve already expected, but I didn’t particularly mind because I enjoyed the gameplay more.

Controls

To merge the items together, all you need to do is drag them in a line of 3 or more again and again until they reach their ultimate form. It’s a pretty simple concept so I can’t imagine the controls any other way.

The Verdict

Merge Magic was great fun to play in a lot of ways. Although I don’t feel like I’d get addicted and want to play this game all the time, it’s definitely one I’m going to go back to when I’m bored. To me, there’s something very satisfying about merging items together to make something better!
