Gameplay
Do you remember dance mats from the 90s? Imagine it in an app and that’s what this is.
Naturally, I got really excited about this as I used to play on dance mats when I was a child and I’m also really good at rhythm games. However, this game is ridiculously hard to play, and I struggled to tap all the arrows on time. For one of the levels, I had 122 misses – terrible!
Graphics
I actually like the look of the graphics along with the characters as they all seem to have their own expressive personalities. I do think the backgrounds in the levels could be a bit more interesting though.
Music & Sounds
The music is definitely on the dull side. I think for a music game, decent music is expected so I wasn’t impressed with what it had to offer!
Controls
The controls consist of tapping, but as I said, the arrows move pretty fast so make sure you are used to the controls in the tutorial before moving on.
The Power of in-app Purchases
If there are in-app purchases available then I don’t know where they are, because they’re extremely hard to find! Hey, at least they aren’t trying to money grab their players.
The Verdict
Although the idea of this game is brilliant and makes me feel incredibly nostalgic, it’s far too hard to play which is something that usually puts me off instantly. Don’t get me wrong, I love a challenging game but not something like this!
