Can You Really Make Money From Mobile Games? Part 2
We’re back again to bring you 3 more games to see if you can really make money from mobile games.
If you’re looking for a way to earn extra cash due to the pandemic, this series is what you need but we’re going to do the dirty work for you.
Can you really make money from mobile games?
21 Jack
“21 Jack is a mix of Blackjack and Solitaire. A modern version with eSports competitions.
Compete in multiple tournaments and head-to-head competitions with cash prizes *where available *”
Rules:
Tap a column to add a card to it. Clean columns by reaching 21 points or 5 cards in a column. Going over 21 points busts the stack for no points, and you receive a strike. Black Jacks are SAVAGES and will clean any column they’re placed into. Combine 21, 5 cards, and savage card bonuses for more points. Streaks grow with back-to-back clears. Longer streaks mean more points. How far can you go?
Starting Budget: $10.00
Winnings: $1.00
21 Jack is made by eGoGames, and it’s extremely similar to 21 Blitz by Skillz, in fact, it’s a carbon copy. The gameplay is a mix of blackjack and solitaire and realistically you need experience with these two games in order to get anywhere. This definitely won’t be a moneymaker for you unless you regularly play these kinds of games. We only made $1 which shows because we rarely play card games like this.
Strategy Tips:
!! Make sure you have experience with card games otherwise you’re going to struggle.
!! Focus on finding 21 rather than 5 cards as it’s easier to do. As you progress, you can focus on making 5 cards.
Party Blast
“Solve Puzzles, Score Points, and Win!
A simple puzzle game with deep strategy.
Includes tournaments and head-to-head competitions with real-world prizes (where available).”
Rules:
Match colors together in order to destroy any of the items on the board. The quicker you do it, the more points you’ll score.
Starting Budget: $15.00
Winnings: $1.00
Out of the three games, this was my favorite to play because of how similar it is to games that are already on the app store – think Candy Crush. If you’re someone who likes these kinds of games and plays them regularly, we’d say it’s a safe bet investing. Of course, like with every game that makes you real money, we recommend starting off small so you don’t lose too much money if you do.
Strategy Tips:
!! Be quick. The faster you are at destroying the items on the board, the more points you’ll earn.
!! Use all your power-ups to score even more points.
Wingy Shooters
“Join Wingy Shooters, the skill game where you can win real money!
Wingy Shooters is an endless, multi-directional sky fighters arcade. Endlessly fly and glide, dodge the bullets, shoot the enemies and stay alive as long as you can!
Hundreds of thousands of players are waiting for you!
This version of Wingy Shooters – Win Real Money is part of EazeGames and Game Transactionz – Skill game competitions for real money.”
Wingy Shooters is a part of Eaze Games, which is a gaming platform where you can win real money. It has a similar concept to Skillz, except the games, seem to be more advanced.
Rules:
Seek and shoot as many enemies as you can. Collect coins for extra points. Defeat big bosses for a huge bonus. Dash to hit through enemies and to avoid missiles. You and your opponents have two minutes to score as many points as possible.
Starting Budget: $10.00
Winnings: $0.00
Wingy Shooters is a pretty difficult game to play because of the controls, despite the gameplay actually being simple. Unfortunately, we didn’t make anything playing this which was disappointing. I don’t recommend this game as a money-maker.
Strategy Tips:
!! Familiarize yourself with the controls before committing to spending money.
The Verdict
Unfortunately, we didn’t have success this week. It seems like trying to make money from mobile games doesn’t work for every game out there. Out of $35 between 3 games, we only made $2. Of course, we’re not saying it isn’t possible to make money from these games, but we do think it takes time. If you have the time, by all means, give these games a go, but beware that you’ll probably start off by losing money. Out of the 3 games, the easiest to get used to is Party Blast so if you’re new to this kind of thing, start there.
