‘Hogwarts Legacy’ is an Open-World ‘Harry Potter’ Game Coming in 2021
Hogwarts Legacy is set to launch in 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. Players will play the role of a witch or wizard and experience life as a student at Hogwarts, embarking on a dangerous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.
Throughout the adventure, new spells and combat skills can be learned, and companions can be brought along to tackle deadly foes. Being an RPG, various missions will present multiple choices and make players choose between tough decisions.
The Hogwarts Legacy announcement trailer reveals that the events of the story will take place in the late 1800s, decades before the events of the Harry Potter series. Multiple fantasy creatures are shown, alongside Hogwarts and the village of Hogsmeade.
An open-world game that takes us to the magical world of Hogwarts? Sign us up! We love the absolute magic of the official Harry Potter games so we’re excited to play one that is set decades before the boy who lived went to Hogwarts!

Sony Announces PS5 Price and Release Date: Starts at $399 and Launches Nov. 12
Sony on Wednesday announced that the PlayStation 5 will start at $399.99 and goes on sale Nov. 12 in the U.S. The Sony PS5 will compete directly with Microsoft’s Xbox Series X and Series S game consoles.
The PS5 Digital Edition, which does not have a disc drive, will cost $399.99. The “regular” version of the console will cost $499.99.
Microsoft announced earlier this month that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S will go on sale Nov. 10 for $499 and $299, respectively. The Microsoft Series X is slightly more powerful than the Series S and includes a disc drive for installing games while the Xbox Series S is smaller and will need to download games from the internet. Microsoft’s system comes with an eight-core AMD Zen 2 processor — like the PS5 — but will have a better graphics card than Sony’s rival machine.
We’re shocked and excited about how the affordable the new console is going to be! $399 for a brand new PlayStation is an amazing deal. It’s also accessible to so many people who maybe couldn’t afford one in the past. What new features are you most excited about?

PlayStation Confirms its PlayStation 5 Games will cost up to $70 / £70
Sony has confirmed that first-party PlayStation 5 games will retail up to $70/£70, mimicking an industry-wide trend towards more expensive games on next-gen consoles. Launch title Demon’s Souls, Destruction All-Stars, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Mile Morales Ultimate Edition will each retail for $69.99/£69.99. The standard edition of Spider-Man, which does not include a remaster of the original game, will retail for $49.99/£51.99, while family title Sackboy A Big Adventure will retail for $59.99/¥6,900/€69.99/£59.99.
Industry research firm IDG Consulting recently said it believed that more major games publishers would explore raising the prices of their games on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, as development costs are expected to increase.
As we said above, we think it’s great that Sony has managed to get the price of the PlayStation so low, however, it’s unfortunate that the price of the games has skyrocketed. This is going to make it harder for people on a slightly lower budget. Our tip is to check every store you can think of and compare deals they might have!

Call of Duty Warzone ‘Coming to your iPhone and Android’ in Gaming War on Fortnite
CALL of Duty’s smash hit spin-off game Warzone may soon be coming to mobile.
A job listing on US game publisher Activision’s website hints the hugely popular battle royale shooter will get its own Android and iPhone apps.
The post on Activision’s career page was spotted on Monday by Call of Duty news site Charlie Intel. It has since been removed.
According to a screenshot of the listing, Activision was looking for an Executive Producer for “WZM”, which appears to be code for Warzone Mobile. The post mentioned Warzone multiple times.
It said the successful candidate would work on a “new mobile FPS in the Call of Duty Franchise.”
They would “harvest, adapt, and deliver the essential features from Warzone console and PC into their best mobile instantiation.”
Talk about an accidental leak! Or was it? We absolutely love Call of Duty: Mobile so to find out there’s another COD mobile game coming has made our day! Are you excited?

PUBG Mobile Becomes the Highest-Earning Mobile Game in August
PUBG Mobile was the top-grossing mobile game in August 2020. With an over 25% increment from August 2019, the game’s revenue reached 221 million USD last month, according to a report by Sensor Tower. Around 59% of the total revenue is generated from the Chinese version of the game, Game for Peace, making the country the highest contributor. The USA follows at 9.5%, and then Japan with 5.2%.
This comes as no surprise to us as we’re constantly reading about new milestones PUBG Mobile has reached. It also helps that Fortnite is no longer on iOS or Android too!
