Gameplay

Become a dentist and treat your patients!

Dentist Bling is currently featured in the top 10 app games on the app store. You play as a dentist and the aim of the game is to fix all of your client’s teeth to their complete satisfaction. The game reminded me of Tamagotchi Corner Shop which I used to play when I was younger. Treatments on your clients range from cleaning plaque, performing a filling, removing teeth, and adding bling to teeth. More treatments come as you progress through the gameplay which makes it more interesting to play.

Graphics

The graphics are poor!

The graphics are quite strange, and not in a good way. The clients barely move and the teeth look weird. I’m not sure how to explain it but I just know I hate it. More work definitely could’ve been added to the game aesthetically.

Music & Sounds

The sounds are genuinely the most annoying part of the whole experience. All I could hear the whole time was the sharp noise of the drill going through the teeth and I just wasn’t here for it. There’s no background music thankfully because I think that would make it 10x worse and it’s already bad.

Controls

Control by dragging!

Drag the tool across the mouth to the correct teeth in order to perform the procedure. There isn’t anything special to the controls – just fix the right tooth.

In the store, you can unlock new teeth for the client for $500. You don’t get to pick it as it’s randomized though. Same with bling.

You can also remove ads for £1.99.

What did you think of Dentist Bling?!

Dentist Bling is exactly what I expected. It’s made for downloads, not for long sessions. The bad graphics and constant ads are a major distraction when it comes to playing. I felt as if I couldn’t even get through a level without an ad popping up and that’s not cool.
