Hey Casual Gamers!

While I don’t agree with this statement in real life, there’s nothing more glorious than seeing a crash.  Especially if there’s no one getting hurt!

This feeling has been transformed into White Room Games app Crash Delivery.  This simple and casual app allows players to man various vehicles of transportation and crash them into 3d backgrounds.

Is it worth your casual time?  Strap in and get ready for the ride in this casual review!

Gameplay

Pick a vehicle…then crash it!

Crash Delivery has no captivation storyline to it.  Just hold down your thumb, run out of fuel, and watch your vehicle collide with the environment.

There’s not much outside of this simple, yet highly addicting casual app game.  I suppose if you put an outside Spotify playlist a story could be made, but that’s just taking away from all the crashing.

The further your crash takes you, the more coins you earn.  Once you have gone far enough, you can advance to new levels.

Graphics

Add more vehicles to your garage!

Crash Delivery has rather soothing graphics for the mission at hand.  Most levels are filled with tree and other background images.  The great thing about all this is that everything can be destroyed.

Houses, other cars, walls, and even trees fall to the power of a great crash.  Additionally, it makes the replay value better as new levels brings new things to crash into.

Vehicles take a rather visible beating in the crashes as well, which makes for oddly satisfying runs.

Music & Sounds

Sound is not really a big deal, but the crashes are!

There’s very little sounds in Crash Delivery.  I suppose some kind of music would have been fine, but the lack of music doesn’t really hurt gameplay.

Thankfully, there are plenty of crashing sounds and effects.  There’s also nice effects for the acceleration and burning of fuel.  It’s not really needed to excel at gameplay, but it’s acceptable should you happen to have your sound on.

If you are looking for a great casual app that needs no sound, Crash Delivery has you covered.

Controls

Around 10 levels to obtain!

Simple controls lead to great casual gaming apps.  For most of the game, there’s just a holding of the gas pedal until fuel runs out.  After the crash summary is complete, just click on the upgrade you want and get back to crashing again.

It’s because everything is simple yet fun that I don’t mind there’s no theme music.

The Power of in-app Purchases

Pay Money to get wings, but lose all progress.

Thankfully, this was rather hard to find!

Crash Delivery is full of ads.  There’s a purchase that will allow you remove ads, but this doesn’t work for the coin multiplayer at the crash summary.  This can  be seem rather meh, because if you are paying to remove ads it should be ALL ads.

It didn’t stop me from playing, so it must not be that bad.

There is a fly mode that’s rather interesting.  for $10 you can control where you crash with wings on each vehicle.

The drawback (because all great purchases need a drawback, right?) is that you lose all upgrades and you start over at level one.  So in a sense, it’s a prestige with wings!

The Verdict

How far will your crash take you?

My only gripe about Crash Delivery is this:  I need more levels!

This casual app is so easy to get lost into, after around 200 upgrades you will reach a point where you only have a few levels left!

It might be the “I never want this to end” part of me that wants more levels, but it’s really the only negative thing I have to say.

That and any ad you’ve seen on social media that promotes this game doesn’t match the actual gameplay.  There’s levels in the ads I’ve never seen and I’m just about finished with all the levels (When the last time you have said that about a casual app?)

Overall, download this and have just as much casual fun as I had.

Are you like me and at the last level wondering what to do with the rest of your casual time?  Drop a comment in the section below and tell us what your favorite vehicle is!

Happy Gaming, and as always, keep it casual!
