“An airport is a prime location for mischief, and that’s exactly what these passengers are up to. As the official security force for the airport, you’re the only thing standing between the airport terminal and complete chaos.

Watch out for people flying with a fake passport, or concealed weapons. The X-ray machine reveals the contraband passengers are trying to smuggle into your city. While their bags are in transit, scan them for anything that might be hidden, you never know what’s inside.

Gameplay

In Airport Security, you work as… yes you guessed it, airport security! Check passports for lies, pat down passengers and even arrest them if you notice anything suspicious! I enjoyed the concept of the gameplay but my only issue is with the ads you get after every passenger. If the ads were a little less frequent I feel like I could get on with it a lot more!

Graphics

The graphics are a problem. They’re so basic and feel like they don’t have much life to them at all. A lot of the top games on the app store have this problem and I just can’t get on board with it!

Music & Sounds

Airport Security doesn’t have any background music, just sounds here and there from when you tap on an option. This is really annoying because the ads (that are full volume) ended up taking me by surprise!

Controls

The controls generally consist of dragging your finger around the screen to pat down a passenger, then tapping on Arrest or Approve to decide their fate!

The Power of in-app Purchases

I predicted this was going to be the case but the only in-app purchase available is the removal of ads. It costs £2.49 which I’d say is a pretty decent price if you like the gameplay! I found it impossible to play with all of the ads.

The Verdict

This is one of those games that you play a couple of times and then never touch again. It doesn’t have much substance to become a favorite game!
