We’re all stuck inside at the moment, and while it may be a win for us gamers, it can still be easy for us to burn out. With these alternatives to the games you’re getting bored of, you’ll whizz straight through this pandemic.
Bored of Minecraft? Try Terraria
Terraria is loosely based on Minecraft which is why it makes it the perfect option. This 2D sandbox game was originally released on PC but is available on mobile so you can play it via touchscreen. Explore, build, craft, combat, mine in both single and multiplayer modes. Much like Minecraft, in Terraria you can find different tools in order to make different items or buildings. Terraria also has more enemies, loot, making the game feel a lot more adventurous and it’ll hopefully keep you entertained for hours!
Fortnite getting you down? Check out PUBG Mobile
PUBG Mobile is one of our favorite games we’ve reviewed so far and we personally believe it beats Fortnite by a mile. Like Fortnite, it’s a Battle Royale game, just without the building. It’s not as aesthetically pleasing to look as Fortnite, however, it’s not got that kid-friendly feel to it. So if you’re looking for a more adult-friendly Battle Royale game, then PUBG Mobile is for you.
Sick of PUBG Mobile? Call of Duty: Mobile is for you
We’ve just suggested PUBG Mobile as an alternative to Fortnite, but what if you’re sick of that too? Call of Duty: Mobile is still fresh to mobile with stunning graphics, easy to use controls and addicting gameplay. Call of Duty: Mobile is slightly different from PUBG Mobile as you are put in a certain location and you respawn. The aim of the game is to stay alive and to get as many kills as possible.
Want something other than Criminal Case? Check out Murder in the Alps
Everyone with a Facebook account has played Criminal Case at least once. It kicked off in 2012 and was a great brain training game. You need to find the objects within a time frame. However, as it’s been around for a while, it’s probably getting a little boring. Murder in the Alps is another hidden object game but it’s attached to a murder-mystery story instead of arresting criminals.
Is Mario Kart Tour feeling repetitive? Sonic Dash is great
Mario Kart Tour is a fairly new game, however, a lot of users have deleted the app as it was getting repetitive and not regularly updated. Sonic Dash is a great alternative as it still includes a well-loved character that brings nostalgia and it’s a racing game. You can’t play online although it doesn’t affect the overall gameplay.
Is Warhammer Combat Cards getting boring? Try Hearthstone
Card games can get repetitive very easily, but Hearthstone is one that we can personally play for hours on end. Hearthstone allows you to play as the hero and battle against enemies to death. The best part is Hearthstone is available iOS, Android and PC.
But what about GWENT?
GWENT isn’t as good as Hearthstone, however, it’s extremely fun and addicting. The graphics superb along with the similar controls and array of in-app purchases to improve gameplay. We think you’ll love GWENT as much as Hearthstone!
Now you have a whole bunch of new games to add to your quarantine list, it’s going to be impossible to get bored!
