Hey Casual Gamers! I love games that take you on a journey. While I just wait for my transportation to get here, I can go on an adventure and collect all the coins I’ve ever wanted.
Super Phantom Cat 2 offers an adventure like no other! Is it worth your casual phone space and time? Lets shrink some monsters in this casual review!
Gameplay
The main hero of this casual story is Ari. Him and his sister was walking through the woods one day and bam! Aliens dun took his sister!
I’m pretty sure we can all relate, right?
Apparently, these Aliens have been causing havoc and chaos all over the world! It’s time to partner up with Ari and his friends to get rid of this wacky UFO madness.
This game feels like wholesome content. The tutorial is pretty cake and guides through most of the starting levels.
It has a Mario type of feel to it, but Super Pahntom Cat 2 really stands out on it’s own!
Graphics
Be ready for some eye candy! Every stage is crafted with amazing detail so it’s easy to slip into this world without noticing!
There’s also a Phantom world that changes the way Ari interacts with this landscape.
Not to mention when Ari is waiting on the player to make a move, he pops out his trusty Nintendo Switch and starts playing.
Another great plus is the seamless movement from one landscape to another. Nothing like never seeing a loading screen while playing!
Not counting the one that starts at each level at least!
Music
Whimsical is the best way to describe the in game music. It oddly helps with solving some of the puzzles as well as finding hidden rooms in stages.
Most of the sound effects are gentle and not overused. I normally want to throw a playlist when I’m trying out a new game, but I caught myself 8 levels in and enjoying the music and sounds!
Some of the sounds will help you find rooms, but most of the time the clues will be visual. I’d say leave it on and further immerse yourself into adventure!
Controls
Super Phantom Cat 2 is a very fluid experience. It’s pretty important to take part of the tutorials as they show how different power ups and jumping works.
The navigation of menus is an enjoyable experience as well.
Simplicity in controls will always keep me coming back!
The Power of in-app Purchases
So there’s the average price break for gems in this casual app, but there’s so much more as well!
You can spin the wheel a few times during a session to get frags of new characters, gems, coins and other prizes.
There are a few ads in the game, but nothing that isn’t really bad. Most adds double your rewards, so it doesn’t feel as bad when you take some ads to the face.
Another microtransaction you will see often will be for keys. These keys will unlock golden chest, which contain better than normal loot in them. These keys come and go, but if you are in a pinch, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to buy a few.
There’s some pretty epic sales in Super Phantom Cat 2 as well! Make sure to look before you buy!
The Verdict
Overall, this was a gem in the rough and beyond! There’s heroes to collect each with their own unique powers! I don’t feel back about making a purchase on this casual app either. Getting rid of ads and unlimited energy is the staple of a some epic gameplay.
It’s pretty rare, but I don’t think I’d change anything in this casual app! Make sure you don’t miss out and this adventure of a lifetime!
