Play Guys Review!
“Be the first to the finish line in Play Guys!
Run through the field and try not to be detected.
The game becomes more challenging and fun with level.”

Play Guys is essentially the Red Light, Green Light game from Squid Game, but a hell of a lot more suited to kids. Instead of being shot down dead when you’re caught, you have a basketball thrown at you. Once you’re knocked down, the game is over.
The graphics aren’t brilliant but if we’re assuming this is a game made for a younger audience, I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Everything is pretty cartooney with different characters you can play as. You start off as a dog but can also be a boy, pig, or even a banana!
Music & Sounds
The audio you hear in the background of the game is that typical royalty-free music you’ll find on most YouTube videos. I feel like Popa Radu can do better than this, but if we’re going back to the thought of this appealing to children, I don’t see a problem!
The controls for Play Guys could not be more simple. All you have to do is drag your finger around the pitch to move your character. Once the doll turns around you must stop straight away – any movement will end the game.
The Power of in-app Purchases
Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can purchase in this game. It’s a shame because they could’ve easily made some of the skins available through transaction only. The only way you can unlock new skins is by simply playing the game.
This game would be a solid 4/5 if it wasn’t for the poor audio and lack of in-app purchases. I think this is a great spin on the deadly Red Light, Green Light game from Squid Game.
I probably won’t keep this on my phone for much longer but it was nice to play for a bit!
