Gameplay
My Cat Club piqued my interest because 1. I love cats and 2. it looked like a calming game to play at the end of the day. It was exactly that! In this game, your mission is to become a Cat Influencer by posting pictures of your cats… Each photo has requirements so you might need to breed your cats to get new personality traits/looks throughout.
I loved the whole concept of the gameplay and loved getting my kitties together to take photos of them. There’s also an option to add furniture and make the cats pose however you want them to!
Graphics
The graphics were too adorable for words… The cats were cute and dreamy along with the apartment looking great, even without furniture and added props. This game was very aesthetically pleasing, fitting into the ‘perfect life’ of an influencer.
On top of this, I loved that the gameplay was styled like a social media app. With comments and likes available, this truly was a great influencer simulator!
Music & Sounds
To fit in with the calming gameplay and dreamy graphics, the music was very relaxing. When it comes to mobile games, I usually have something negative to say about the audio as for some reason game developers can never get it right. However, on this occasion, I loved listening to the music and felt it fit in perfectly with everything else!
Controls
The main part of the gameplay is to take pictures of your cats to post on fictional social media. To do this, set them in their place by tapping on them, choosing their pose, and then pinching to zoom in and out! These were easy to use.
