Gameplay

When we review MMORPG games, we find that they’re all very similar that it doesn’t really matter which one you play – will MIR4 be any different?

MIR4 is a blockchain-based game that allows players to earn cryptocurrency and trade NFTs (non-fungible tokens).

The game starts with a tutorial that gets you fighting with enemies and meeting the main characters along the way. This takes a while to get through but is a lot of fun… At this point, you can’t take advantage of any of the RPG features. If you’re not a fan, just put the game on auto and watch your character get through the battles themselves.

Character classes:

Warrior – pulverizes enemies with a heavy guard sword

Sorcerer – wields magic with the power of the elements

Taoist – supports party members with divine recovery spells

Lancer – a specialist that can attack and defend simultaneously using a long spear

Graphics

For a mobile game in general, the graphics are great. However, most MMORPG games have similar graphics so nothing really stands out for me. I enjoy the surroundings but the characters and what they look like? Not so much!

Music & Sounds

I assume this is different for each character class, but my Sorcerer made the most annoying sounds while she was fighting – they were more like whines.

The characters spoke, but not in English, so you need to read the script!

Controls

There are quite a few buttons to remember, with all the attack and defense buttons being at the bottom right side of the screen and the joystick on the left. However, there’s an auto option if you don’t feel like remembering them!

The Verdict

MIR4 is nothing special to me in terms of a MMORPG. But if you’re looking for a new community to get involved with while fighting like a badass Sorcerer (or any of the other classes) then this might just be the game for you!
