When it comes to idle RPG’s, I seem to lose interest very quickly. This is because you don’t have to do a whole lot to keep them going – most of it is automatic. I understand this works for a lot of people, but 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t for me.
Despite my feelings towards idle RPG’s, I did actually enjoy Idle Life Sim. This is because it’s mixed with a simulation, and I’m a fan of simulation games.
At the beginning of the game, you’re greeted by Grandma who passive-aggressively tells you that you need to grow up and get a job. She sorts you out a job and an apartment, and now it’s all down to you to decorate it, buy more houses and get promotions. Grandma will visit ever so often to help out, but most of it is down to you.
The first thing I noticed about Idle Life Sim was the colorful and well laid out graphics. I think they bring the game together perfectly and add a nice touch. Of course, they’re not the best I’ve ever seen in an Idle RPG but they do the job brilliantly!
Music & Sounds
The music on Idle Life Sim is quite generic, but not a problem as I do think it fits in with the gameplay in a way. The Grandma makes noises ever so often, especially when she comes to visit so listen out for her.
To do any of the actions available, all you need to do is tap them. If you have a lot of money, tap them vigorously. I wish there was a way to do it faster like holding it down, but it’s not a big deal.

Although I didn’t have high hopes for Idle Life Sim, I enjoyed playing it. As I said, Idle RPG’s can bore me but this is fun and feels rewarding when you get promoted. As time goes by, your job gets better which means you can live somewhere better and buy better items. This gives a sense of achievement to the player so I would definitely give this a go if you like feel-good games.
