Manage your own gym!

Have you ever wanted to manage your own gym? Well, now you can! Gym mania allows you to manage your very own gym – telling customers which machine to use, serving them water, and cleaning up after them.

The concept of the gameplay was very similar to those where you run your own hotel – like Grand Hotel Mania! I really enjoyed playing this as it made me think hard about my choices and how fast I was working. You can purchase power-ups to make the levels easier but I quite enjoyed the added stress of making sure all the customers were happy.

The graphics worked well!

The graphics were cute with each character clearly representing a different type of person you see at the gym. For example the bulked guy, cardio bunny, etc. I also found that the game ran smoothly on these graphics with no lagging or freezing.

Music & Sounds

The music was quite funky – not really related to the gym at all so it didn’t work well in my opinion. However, it was just background music so it could easily be muted if it annoys you.

Tap to control!

To ensure your customers are tended to, tap on them, tap on a piece of equipment and then wait for them to be done before you clean up. Like most time management games, all you had to do was tap on things so it never got too confusing.

The Verdict

What did you think?!

I liked Gym Mania, mainly because I’m a big fan of time management games anyway. It could definitely be a lot better but for what it is, it’s quite addictive. I’m going to keep this one on my phone to see how far I can get with building my dream gym.
