We’re back to break down the casual gaming news for this week. If you have any suggestions for news headlines we’ve missed, let us know in the comments!

GTA 6 Could Release in 2024, According to Take-Two

“During Take-Two’s annual investor call and financial update, comments were made that clearly suggested GTA 6 could surface as soon as 2024. It’s difficult to see how anything else could have been alluded to in the comments made by Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, a long-time developer of the Grand Theft Auto series.”

Although this definitely seems possible, we think it’s too soon to tell. We hope we’re wrong though!

Talofa Games launches Run Legends fitness battle mobile game

Talofa Games has launched Run Legends, a mobile game that turns walking or running into a game as you engage in co-op fitness battles with friends around the world.

Run Legends is a movement game where you unleash attacks and special skills as you walk or run. You can use these skills to defeat the villainous Sappers who are draining humanity’s energy. Level up your gear, make new friends, and learn more about the world of Run Legends as you level up your fitness in real life.”

In a world where many people aren’t exercising enough, this is a super cool idea! Fitness and gaming can go hand in hand and this proves it!

Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sells 10 million copies in three days

“The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom had become the fastest-selling Zelda game so far, it said.

For comparison, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – the highest-rated game on gaming-aggregator Metacritic – sold 7.4 million copies over its entire run.

Tears of the Kingdom was released as a Nintendo Switch exclusive on Friday.

And it has already sold more copies than any other Zelda game except Breath of the Wild, to which it is a sequel.”

This is incredible but not a surprise at all as it was extremely hyped up for a long time! We personally think it’s an amazing game and deserves all the recognition it’s getting. What do you think?
