Gameplay
As I’m such a big fan of golf games, when I came across Golf Blitz, I got really excited. I noticed at first that the layout is totally different from any golf games I’ve ever played. For starters, it’s not from your character’s point of view but we’ll talk about that later.
You get a maze kind of map where you need to hit the ball strategically to get it through the obstacles and into the end hole. There are power-ups available to help with the swing.
Graphics
As mentioned, the whole layout and graphics for Golf Blitz are very different from any other golf game I have played. With a solid color background, there’s an obstacle you have to get through with your golf ball.
The graphics are all pretty solid, with no chance of them being too much for your phone. I didn’t experience any lagging or the app crashing.
Music & Sounds
Golf Blitz’s music is really chill and fits in well with the randomness of the gameplay. Like most, if not all games, there is an option to turn off the music and sounds if it isn’t for you.
Controls
I thought the controls were a little fiddly at first but I soon got used to them. To take a shot, drag the ball on the screen either left or right depending on where you want to go.

The Verdict
Although Golf Blitz is no Golf Clash, I enjoyed how unique it was from any other golf game I’ve seen on the app store. I definitely think I’m going to keep it on my phone for those days where I’ve got some time to kill.
