Gameplay

Eatventure Review
Upgrade your restaurant!

From what Eatventure looks like in the ads I saw all over TikTok and Instagram, I expected it to be an idle game… If you know my stance on idle games you’ll know that I was hoping and praying that it wasn’t one. Well, I was in luck! Eatventure is a game you actually play (yay) and it surprised me with how fun it was.

The aim of the game is to keep building your business until you end up as a restaurant tycoon. You start working at a lemonade stand and consistently upgrade until you earn enough to purchase a new store.

Graphics

Eatventure Review
The graphics worked well!

The graphics were quite basic. Visually, there wasn’t much happening, but I actually preferred it that way. Sometimes games don’t have to have insanely detailed visuals and that’s completely fine!

Music & Sounds

I wasn’t a big fan of the background music – it was repetitive and quite cheesy. If you’re planning on playing this game for a while, I’d recommend keeping it on mute…

Controls

Eatventure Review
Tap to control!

Tap on the lemonade stand to serve the customer their drink, that’s all. After that, your workers will start doing it automatically and all you need to do is continuously upgrade your items to get to the next level. The game controls were straightforward but effective.
