Gameplay

If you’re familiar with the Dumb Ways series, you’ll know it started by Metro Trains Melbourne to spread awareness around railway safety but the games took off and became popular all around the world. Over 3 years ago they brought out a new series that focuses on drawing the characters to their safety.
If I’m honest, I didn’t really see many differences between this and the first game, except the fact there were a lot more levels. I feel as if it would’ve been easier to just update the first game rather than create a whole sequel. That being said, I once again enjoyed the gameplay and how it really made me think about the best escape route.
Graphics

The graphics were the same as every other game in the series but that’s not a bad thing because it’s a part of the experience. If the graphics were to ever be changed, it wouldn’t work because it’s what the series is known for.
Music & Sounds
For a game essentially about trying not to die, the music and sounds were very upbeat but that’s the same with every game in the series. I quite liked it as it made it a little less serious despite the game being a great safety message.
Controls

To control, drag your finger in the appropriate place to draw and your character will walk along it to (hopefully) get to the other side, providing you don’t get it wrong and your character falls to their death.

The Verdict

I liked playing Dumb Ways to Draw 2 but found it wasn’t hugely different from the first game, except for the fact it had a lot more levels available to play. If you’re completely new to the series, I’d suggest starting with this one rather than the first.
