You’re under attack! General Kaine and his Marauders are attacking our city and the citizens won’t survive long with him around. Your need to battle with him to save the people.
I initially saw Crystalborne for the first time in an ad while playing a different game. I have to be honest, in the ad, Machine Zone made the gameplay look a lot different from how it actually is. They made it look as if it was a console game, so of course, I was fooled into downloading it.
The graphics on top of the misleading ad is what drew me to the game the most. They’re not only detailed to (almost perfection) but they’re bright, colorful, and add so much character to the gameplay. I can’t really fault them at all, especially since they look pretty much exactly the same as they did in the ad I saw.
Music & Sounds
As for the music, it’s definitely generic. I feel like I’ve heard it a million times in these types of games before so it doesn’t excite me. The sounds are pretty generic fighting sounds too.
The controls are where things go a little bit pear-shaped. Although there are controls for a basic attack, special ability, and ultimate ability, there’s also an auto button. This means that if you press the auto button, you don’t really need to play the game at all and you just need to sit back and relax. What’s the fun in that?

I think the problem with Crystalborne is that they made the ads seem so much better than the actual gameplay, that I got my hopes up a bit too much. That being said, the game isn’t terrible, it’s just not for me. If you like games where little effort is required, then you’ll most likely have a ball playing Crystalborne.
If you decide to download Crystalborne, let us know what you think and if you agree or disagree with any of the things we said. Happy gaming and stay casual!
