Gameplay

The gameplay is great!

As someone who has never had the pleasure of playing a Call of Duty game before, I was very excited to see that it’s now at the tip of my fingertips! Activision thought it was time to release a freemium game on Android and iOS so anyone could join in on the fun.

First entering the game, you’re taught how to use the controls by picking up guns, shooting targets and moving around. The tutorial is pretty short which I like, then being put into a match with some bots for practice. You’re put into teams of 5 and the aim of the game is to get the most kills before the 10 minutes is up. Every time you die, you will respawn in your team’s base but be careful because it’s likely the opposing team will try to take over!

Graphics

The graphics are of console-quality!

Call of Duty: Mobile’s graphics are what impressed me the most, but I didn’t exactly expect them to be bad that’s for sure. You play in the first person, giving you access to seeing from your characters POV. Not to mention, the game doesn’t lag at all. Pretty cool visually.

Music & Sounds

During the gameplay, there’s no music available. However, there’s never a quiet moment due to the shooting from your own gun and everyone else’s gun. The characters do speak sometimes, and your player will automatically say “Cover me – reloading” when they’re reloading.

Controls

You can pick between two control methods!

The controls consist of two settings: simple or advanced. Simple shoots as soon as you hover over your target, whereas, advanced means you need to shoot yourself. As I’m a beginner, I went with simple as it would give me a better chance of getting somewhere.

What did you think of Call of Duty: Mobile?

Call of Duty: Mobile is a great alternative to console games. With console-quality graphics, easy controls, and amazing multiplayer mode, I can see this game being a hit. With it originally being released on Android, a lot of Apple users felt they were missing out. And we were. Definitely go and download this game!
