Gameplay
If you’ve read the reviews for this game, you’ll know it’s a word game like no other. Most of the time, word games have simple levels with no real depth to the game. However, Text Express comes with a storyline. Tilly is trying to fix an old train so she can travel the world with her sick grandma.
When you complete each word game, it allows you to get closer to fixing the train and heading off. This makes the gameplay feel much more rewarding than if I were playing one without a storyline. It’s also important to note that this game is made by GameHouse, who is already known for creating great storylines within their games.
Graphics
The graphics were also great, especially when it cuts to the scenes of Tilly performing an action. The visuals were really high quality which is what I’ve come to expect from a game by GameHouse.
Music & Sounds
Although the background music was relaxing, allowing you to focus on the gameplay, it’s pretty much the only sound that exists. The characters don’t talk, meaning you have to read the script if you care about what they’re saying. Considering the graphics were really good, you’d think they might spend some time adding voice actors to say a few lines.
Controls
The controls were simple – drag your finger across the letters to make as many words as the level wants you to. There’s nothing more to it than that, making this the perfect winding-down game after a long day!

Text Express was much more than your typical word game – it had a captivating story, gorgeous graphics, and easy-to-use controls. I couldn’t get enough!
